I'm holding out for front spacers at the mo until the wheels are fitted.
May do the same with the rears. Or I might try one side.
Do H&R sell 16mm DRA spacers? I'd like the bolt to hub type I think.
Do you not know a friendly mot guy?
Silver will look nice behind the darker wheels I'd say, especially on a silver car. If it was a different colour then perhaps a more lairy colour would suit it but silver always looks fresh.
The crack so much better the 2nd time! Well until late the splitter tinkered with it!
As for the cold air feed you'd be better off changing the filter to behind the headlights as it gets cold air there. Where it is now is getting a fair bit of heat soak. Plus if you change the filter setup...
I want studs at a later date anyway. Was thinking of getting the DRA spacers (use bolts supplied to fit to hubs, then use your existing wheel bolts to do wheels up) then loctighting the tuds into that, then it the wheels on. Pretty sure this is what @Tim. does.
My ones are ET38 I believe. Cup...
Didn't go this year.
Perfect weather for it though. Some nice stuff there. The ST area is a fair bit chavvy but it's a good show to go too.
Did you see/get any pics of my friends roof chopped, grey mk2 cortina?
That car is no more. It was broke last year. I went for the oem+ look. Like you though, no ph2 rear lights.
I believe the black was a sticker and from memory it was like fine grip tape sticker, similar to skateboard deck tape but a lot finer. Black vinyl will so exactly the same though.
If you look at my grill here, it's black all the way in. Normal if there's silver parts, the bumper has been painted. (Where the toy bar is, on both sides)
I also meant orange indicator bulbs in the headlights too.
Just makes it look more standard.
I have tried some top mount covers from diamond motorsport. (I think)
These will cover the holes the best I can see as the covers go quite low to the turrets.
Love a clean ph1. Such a cool looking car.
I get why your doing it, but the standard ride height is comical! However, it looks standard but packs a punch!
Have you thought about the 182 manifold? Makes decatting an easier fix.
I'd also think about having some black stickers on the front...
I do have some peugeot metallic grey and that is the way im swaying.
It'll be the same colour i do my inlets. However halfords do actually do anthracite caliper paint so i may look into this too.
