You need to spray it with an all purpose cleaner. Or interior cleaner, and clean it with a damp microfibre that's been in boiling hot water and then wrung out.

Whatever you buy, make sure the Cambelt kit/aux belt kit have been replaced by someone that knows what they're doing. Preferably a specialist on here.
If you buy one that's been timed up wrong it will be slow and have s**t fuel consumption.
I went from a company car 197, to a privately financed 200, then back to a ph1 172.
They have their plus points and minus points so I'd suggest driving a few. The 172/182 is quite soft ride wise compared to a cup packed 197/200.
The newer heavier 197/200 feels slower than a 172/182 also.
