I think aside from the brake calipers, rear lights and the hazard panel, it looks a nice car. He's obviously looked after it.
It's f**king yellow though. What self respecting man would drive a yellow car??
Enthusiasts cars yeah. My mate has a brand spanking new Modded caddy van. and it's mint. Not a stone chip or kerbed 20 inch Bentley wheel in sight, all matching expensive rubber...
But every week without fail it gets washed at the local £5 car wash and the paint is so so bad. But he just...
I once corrected a black civic type r, it was mullered and took me two days.
A month later he went to a wedding and got it washed by the ruskis and it looked just like that S2000 above!
If you ever do one again, chuck the new CV boot in a kettle full of water and let it boil.
The boot is then so soft you can use your hands to stretch it over the CV joint.
It's been my method for years!
I took a standard 172 exhaust off last week and no word of a lie, about a gallon of water came out of the silencers.
And that had just been driven 60 miles to get to me!
Well done boner.

I'm not getting rid though, I'd rather bury it at sea than watch someone finish off my hard work!
I don't particularly like them, they just have sentimental value to me. They were 'the' car back when I was 15-18.
But your point about it having a blue oval not automatically making it a cool car is rubbished by the fact they still fetch good money. I appreciate you think they're s**t but the...
They're calming down now. Some nice ones have fetched £12/1300 lately.
I got £1850 for mine last summer and it needed a bit of work.
Sound investment though. As are most 80/90's Fords.
Forced induction cars (audi TT, a3 tdi) are all about torque.
A 197 has very little torque and needs to have its neck wrung to make it go.
Two very different types of car.
(I think that's what he's saying)
A lifetime of being 'cleaned' at the local Iraqi £5 car wash will destroy calipers.
My dad had brand new Merc sport calipers (lush!!) fitted less than a year ago and now they look like the titanic's Anchor.
