well, i'm in! crossover cable, ip sniffer, got the ip address, then downloaded the snap manager software and change the ip to sit on our network. Its got 1 failed disk unit - the HDs in the device are not made any more - will new version of the same model work in the array or do you have to...
i've got this problem with my supersport stealth. I adjusted it to fit perfectly this weekend, and was nice and hidden, now its sagged about 6 inches, fcuk knows how.
cheers guys, i've read through that guide - it looks like the device is up and operational and i've connected using a crossover to the lan port, but cannot find any ip addresses using an ip scanner. hmmmmm
ok so i have inherited a Snap Appliance 4500, its got 4x 250GB drives in a Raid 5 array.
1) I've booted the thing up but have no idea what the IP address is or how to change it
2) I beleive that the physical drive order may have been mixed up *ahem* at some point - if so am i screwed or is...
I've still not seen ANY glitched games yet, dunno what the fuss is about.

I've got 800 points kicking around, so i'll buy the maps, no doubt. Lets face it guys, the game cost £30 and most of us are still playing it 4 months later. I'd say thats pretty good value for money, and if the £10 pack gives it another month of playing, then its a bargain.
This is a complete bummer. I don't know how it got installed but it disables taskmanager, and the running of all .exe files so cannot even load any anti malware program or even regedit, cmd etc.
