But like I have said the KWs are not available for the 182 cup packed cars.
So it doesn't really matter about the KWs as I don't think I can use them without loads of messing about.
They do offer all the refinements of KWs at that price, exactly the same setup as the spax RSX rear coilover I think.
Also KW ain't available for the 182 cup/trophy fitment are they?
Right further updates, been told a maximum 20 cars to use the rolling road (4 an hour)
I know we are at 19 now but keep adding your names as people will chop and change within the time before the meet.
The 1st 20 on the list with (RR) after there name will be running on the day so there is 2...
Also 1st person to drop out the RR part if numbers become too great or time constraints occur will be myself as I have organised this day for you guys. And tbh I am sad and I get the enjoyment out of getting the CS people together and watching people get involved and taking the photos along the...
The price is £20 on the day (cash) I won't be out of pocket as all I'm going to do is collect on the day and hand over.
It will stay at that as long as 10 cars run, which seems a very easy target and they are just happy such a large club has picked them out to be used for our day as they are a...
I have organised a Cliosport.net invitation only rolling road day.
It will be at this venue - http://www.tiptongarage.co.uk/
I will be taking place on on Saturday the 16th of march (time yet to be arranged but it will be starting early in the morning and finishing about 1-2pm).
It will...
Dont worry about only having a 1.2 mate, if you want a spot on the rollers the list will be first come first serve and if it came down to it and we had one car over on the allowed amount I will pull myself out as I am organising it for you guys.
If march is a better time for people I shall move it back a month and put a more localised meet in February instead to fill the gap.
Is march the 16th a good date for the majority of people? (Has to be a Saturday as I don't think they are open on Sundays but will find out 2moz)
Just spoke to them, they seem really up for us to come and have a day there as they really want to open up to the Clio market.
They supply 2 wheel drive runs.
It's going to be in February (waiting for them to confirm when they have a day for us as its going to be a Cliosport.net only day :) )...
i would recommend standard shocks and uprated spring over Vmaxx coilovers if its a daily.
H&R coilovers are a good middle with good ride quality yet height adjustable (worth paying the extra for imo!)
Poly wishbone bushes I think is something you need to look into, I didn't bother as I have seen problems and plus a fully bushes up front end with minimal give might cause trouble on British roads (deffo on my roads anyway! Look ducking bomb struck :S)
Yep and you get new ball joints with your wishbones which is always a good thing to change!
Ye same price but you get CS discount at Demon Tweeks so they are a little cheaper than OEM ones I think.
But I didn't even bother thinking about OEM Renault rubber when I knew there was an upgrade for...
The cheaper aftermarket track rods people would prob find a fault with but good quality (RS Clio garage approved and used) ones will be the same if not better quality than the OEM.
I got told mine wasn't a problem, but I know chip had loads of movement in his rack bush so I think it's down to what you find under there, they are only 20 quid from Renault anyway so might be worth just doing it whilst your under there so you know when it's done.
Yep 80-84 quid for the pair, it maybe closer to 84 is you have posted as well.
I think when everything is changed it all goes hand in hand as everything is new, I hear power flex arb bushes help but my oem ones where shagged and there has been a 1000% improvement as I did it all at the same...
