Great stuff :-) I will get onto them then.
I would love to see a Clio max out there rollers! It would make for great viewing lol
Looking at there pictures hight of the car won't be a problem as they have plenty of lotus's on there.
No it doesn't so it shall end here,
Also I have been given other ideas of places.
It mainly deals with classic and new race cars so low cars won't be a problem, but the dyno only reads to 270bhp, but with it being race car orientated it should be more precise no?
I know maybe 1 or 2...

i think im gonna contact these guys about another RR meets as they seem to do some pretty good stuff and know about a lot of different stuff too :)
anyone got any horror stories with these guys? or even used them before?
tbh im gonna turn up but not go on the RR just to see what happens at these things and meet up with a few of the south west lot again, if i put it on the RR i would just end up spending money trying to change my numbers for the next time lol
I gave mine a good run today and I can confirm the work I had done has improved the cars handling by 1000% every turn is pin point now, and the steering wheels is heavy at all movement on flat surfaces not just against camber.
Highly recommend doing this before going down the coilover route!
Just spotted in the demon tweeks motorsport catalogue a new addition for the RS Clios.
AVO coilovers are available for the ph1 and ph2 inc trophy.
It's the more expensive setup priced at £900
Will these be any good?
I did have a few knocks when moving the wheel stationary and also over bumps.
TRE and track rods do deteriorate yes
I think it's worth go the all the way tbh.
A lad I work with ABF'd a mk1 caddy, it had profiled cams and carbs.
It RR'd at about 180bhp.
It drove really nice and was very quick, sounding amazing too, but I drank fuel like no tomorrow lol
Now he's got a 1.8T mk1 golf driver and the noise and fun has gone of the flowery caddy :(
New...
It feels better at every speed, I haven't had a huge drive back, but it feels soo nice on turn in now, pin point sharp and its as if your running your hands over the surface when you hold the wheel!
Really made it feel like a new car now tbh!
Only thing that comes close to this pin point feel...
If you want it slightly more rigidity you can get powerflex wishbone bushes to replace the old standard rubber ones, but Birchdown recommended some give in the setup to keep it nice on road :)
Had all the above work done and it fixes my problems, still have the ktec shocks and old top mounts that show there age now, but its 1000% better after the above work :)
Race tank + different fuel pump to match the carbs?
If its a road car it's sounds pretty pointless for the work involved, but so does 1000hp of supra on the road but people still do it lol
