Well, with a Time Attack mention, this just got serious!
Look forward to seeing this flying around at brands
Good luck with the build bud, I hope all goes well.
When do you plan on having the car ready and built for racing?
Well just got caught up with all the shenanigans that's been happening over here in this thread!!
Lovely Storm... Lovely LY and a awesome everything else! What more could life throw at you...an absolutely mint Clio Williams? 🙈😂😂 (Probably not fast enough though)
So much envy at the moment 😂... this is currently at the position my car should be at..
I'm really not sure what to do in terms of 'extent' on my 172 as in an ideal world I'd buy a 182 and swap everything over once the 182 was fully stripped...
Maybe that'll happen next year if a...
For some reason the majority of your photos aren't working for me...
Look forward to see the rest of the updates though, this is coming together nicely

Morning all...
Just got in from a brief visit to the unit this morning.
I've painted all of the 'Walkway' patches and I've got a small amount of the floor paint left for any touch ups that'll need to be done.
The extension cord was a WARNING guide for me... DONT CROSS THIS...
Went down to the Unit this morning (04:30) and got a load more painting done.
I still needed a walkway to the light switch and I'll be painting the shutter door area in due course.
That's all for now, I shall hopefully have some parts on order very soon
🙈😂😂.... my wife almost killed me!
Her words "Those are the girls first matching bed set"
My words "Well there about to be mismatched with paint on" 😂
I don't like car covers, and I'd certainly NEVER put any thing on a car I was detailing etc... but i had...
Exactly this bud, I've got an ongoing list of parts that have either arrived or that I'm looking to purchase...
Just in the process of purchasing a shelving unit (or two:tearsofjoy:) so I can keep things neat.
More to come over the next few days
Small update...
I popped down to the unit this afternoon to see whether the floor had dried out enough for me to move the car.
It was dry and I was happy as it means I can head out to work shortly, then on my way home, I can pop back to the unit and get the rest of the floor painted.
This...
😂 How naive of me... I guess this is a regular thing then 😂
Thanks bud
This is the only reason I was happy to wait for the unit... they just don't come up very often down our way.
This is true, however, I've got lots of projects I want to do in this unit and it opens...
It's £250 a month including water, electricity will be quarterly and a metre is getting fitted shortly.
Two of the other units are garages and are nice blokes, have offered tools and equipment if needs be. I'll have them do the welding on any of my cars.
Another is a car enthusiast with an...

Hi guys! It's been a while since I've updated this thread and that has been for one reason... THE UNIT.
Those of you that have seen this thread previously are aware that I've been waiting since NOVEMBER to get the front wall rebuilt on the unit and it's been an absolute nightmare...
I've been told mine may be late April early may :coldsweat:
Thanks for these two vids... now I'll see if I can get the car setup without sliders
Just caught up with this! I am really hoping I can come along to Brands when you're down next!
I'll be sure to introduce myself! Top work and keep it up! Makes for a great read and I also deliberately skip your videos as I rather enjoy watching In quiet periods at work :up:
I'd recommend you order your seats ASAP... Corbeau have a waiting list for their clubsports. I've just taken in my deposit for my two seats and they're in the process of making the next batch for dispatch.
They should be shipping at the beginning of April.. I'll get mine first as I live 3...
I've rather enjoyed that's read, Really well put together!
Any chance you'll do any track days or are you looking to stick to hills?
Look forward to any tweaks and changes you may have
Welcome along bud
Coilovers I'd say BC or Bilstein's, they seem to be the most frequently purchased on the forum but it depends on what you want/have to spend on a set.
All the best on the forum :grinning:
Welcome along bud
The best thing to do with your Clio to improve it, is keep it looking rather mint, tidy up scuffs and scrapes if there are any and just save your pennies.
Rather than buy parts for that car, save for a 172/182 and get modding that car.
Well, this is of course if you wish to...
I'm pretty sure it was made illegal to say/write Sierra Cos..... without posting a picture!
Welcome along bud and yes... we need photos please... in fact let's see all the cars you've got!
