Not sure, a3 or a4? newer than 07 and has to be an s-line again. Going to run the laguna for a few months first, cheap motoring and I'm in no rush to find a new car. Tbh I hate cars lol
You get good ones and bad ones, looked after one with Renault history are normally alright, its the ones that have never seen the dealers that are fuked.
Yea, i got it for my dad last year for £980 trade in at work as he wanted a skip car. Perfect timing as he was selling it so i made a cheeky other of £800 and he dropped it off for me today whilst i was at work. Sharp eyes you have Daniel.
Octavia VRS is going tomorrow, so i needed something to smoke around in for a bit. Had this dropped off to me today, 2003 53 Laguna 1.9dci 120bhp, full Renault history from new, loads of tax and m.o.t, done 95k. Should keep me going for a while until i find my next Audi.
A/C is properly...
Im sure the head rebuild came to just over 2k with the proper labour time and all parts. Boxes are pure luck really, we have done a few but not masses. Not sure on the price side of things.
If it had full Renault service history they would contribute say 75%, no history with Renault i can almost 100% say they wont contribute, but you never know.
We had a 59 plate 200 in a few weeks ago, aux belt shredded and took out the cambelt. Renault paid 70% good will as she had full service...
You should try the Motrio rubber c.v boots Mick, best boots ever, havent seen one fail yet. Fitted 2 to the mothers clio about 4 years ago and they haven't perished and the straps are still looking new.
Your unlocking is normal, once for the drivers door and twice for the rest. It can be changed at Renault for one click unlocks all.
Boot coming open will be the boot button on the tailgate, had the exact same problem on another clio a few months ago.
Once the airbags/pretensions have been deployed the air bag computer is scrap and will require replacing. Don't get crap off eBay or second hand s**t, it won't work.
A new air bag computer is required. Also it will need configuring at Renault on Clip.
Also, any pretensioners/air bags that have gone off need to be replaced £££££
Why would you remove the driveshaft completely to change the outer cv boot? I do them in place. Also I don't touch the lower arm, I unbolt the shock to hub and swing the shaft out that way.
If you look in your service book it shall tell you the interval. From 57/08 plate they changed the interval to 6 years 72k. Pm me your reg and I shall check for you in the morning.
