Or without putting them back on the car, pull it as much as it'll come off(without breaking it) then push the clips away from where they're held in place

Put them back on the car and lever the badge off with a protected flatheaded screwdriver underneath it :)

Ah right. The switch might've died too. If you know someone close with a clio could be worth just swapping switches and testing? If it's not the switch thats faulty then you know one of the wires it's connected to has gone wrong

LOL, nice bit of grey primer or whatever your primer's meant to be for your basecoat then a couple layers and a wetsand and then the paint and lacquer but Im hardly an expert, you should PM Middo for some paint advice Lacey :)
