Not sure if I will be able to make it Friday :(
Im free both saturday and sunday though (and evenings) so that might be a bit better :)
June is shaping up to be really busy at work, so Im not sure when Im free at the moment!
M8 im always up for it! oh hang on.... ;)
Yeh we'll av to do another local photoshoot, I know m4rkie is keen to join us too.
I know it's more of the generic car park shots, but it's a good place to mess about in, and when I get the new rig up and running, we'll have a go at multiple car rig...
Hey guys, sorry to bring up this thread again, but I was fiddling about with one of the shots and came up with this:
Thoughts?
My only sort of gripe is that the paint looks quite flat, but that was just the way the car lit up!
The one you recommended :)
The ramp to the top floors was blocked off, but there were some security guards and we cheekily asked if we could go up the top, and they let us! Very sound guys!
Not sure tbh, I learnt a lot by just going out and messing about the with camera, and seeing how different settings are used for different shots etc.
There are a lot of good tutorials on the net, just google to get the basics, but the real way you're going to learn is just to go out and...
You may want to get a couple more rolls of 3M tape. It's amazing how quickly you get through it, and you dont really want to be ordering just a roll of tape in a month or so :)
lol, how did you find this thread?!
Thanks for letting me shoot your car, had a great time :)
And if you post them on the Alfa forum, send me the link, Id love to know what the reaction is from the Alfa owners ;)
LOL Jay!
Yeh I used a umbrella for one shot (a close up of the alloy), this basically softens the light and stops the light from being so harsh, and can prevent hotspots etc
Yeh thanks m8, it was useful!
But I coudlnt believe my luck when I was sitting at my desk at work and looked up, there's...
Yeh it was very hard to control the reflections with so many lights in the car park, and a CPL can only do so much to help!
Yep, photography is just a hobby for me :)
Im afraid I do m8, I'd love to have a got at a LY, one of my favourite coloured 182s :)
Yeh I know lol, by the time we'd done most of the shots, it was getting late. But I'll be doing this car again fairly soon I hope.
Thanks again guys :)
Still a couple more:
This shot was a complete fluke. You will recognise it from a previous shot Ive posted above, but basically the flash on the left didnt go off.
But I quite like the sort of creeping out of the darkness look the shot has.
