Mine are too. Alex has it at the moment doing some stuff to it so when it's all sorted I'll get some miles done. Haven't even warmed the pads properly yet. They are hilarious... Squeel like fek too but it all adds to the hilariousness of the silly yellow experience.
Renault ?! LOLwut.
JP Polishing in Canvey comes highly recommended. Only 20 mins from the tolls. Upto 17" was £45 a corner last time I was there .. if you hadn't already thought about it, it's a brilliant time to put some new tyres on too.
Having no air box/piping up to the throttle butterfly will make no difference to how it runs. Well maybe minimal if you take into consideration inlet lengths and pulse tuning but it's a 1.4 n/a. Even an eBay electric supercharger will make zero difference to the inlet pressure.
As mentioned -...
Ha cheers. I don't really worry about what other people think. It's not like I've put blue wheels on an F40 or something.....
They're not really too blue any longer - more hint-of-brake-dust brown.
Turns out I haven't actually updated this for a while. Just renewed with Greenlight so it means I've had it a year !!
Where were we.........
So yeah, Bedford. That was good .. Went there once more later in the year and then Snetterton in Sept - maybe somewhere else inbetween? - and then...
I'd be inclined to put 4 normal bolts in instead of the crappy locking ones. No one's going to steal standard wheels worth £50 (unless you've got something ridiculous on there, which it doesn't sound like ......) and the damn things are more hassle than they're worth - as you've found out !
If...
Gromits - 99.9%..
Take the gromits out, clean the painted surface and then put a ring of tigerseal or something similar on there on the outside surface and squeeze them back in so no water can now .
That's all I did and I went from having a lake in the boot quite literally inches deep (how the...
I'd like to drive it as far as possibly really...
I've driven cars before and for a five minute jaunt, they're OK .. but on longer journeys things are annoying - comfort based or something like that. Things you can't figure out in 5 minutes that become apparent after half an hour or a week of...
What operating system are you running, Steve ? Windows.. XP ? Or earlier !?
What program have you got for editing letters ? Word, I assume...? Do you know what version it is ?!
No point turning it into the newest version type if you're running something 5/10 years old that's all..
Not sure...
If it's not using any coolant - where else would the water be coming from ?
It's cold - steam is more apparent in colder weather.
Is it the standard exhaust still ?
Are you doing long or short journeys ? Does it ever get properly hot - like a 30+ minute drive not at 30mph .. is there still...
*Steam.
Oil is blue and fuel is black.
Unless its doing an Uncle Buck impression... Don't worry about it. It's cold.. Water is part of the fuel/air burn output.....
It's fine.
