    Smashed into from behind...almost

FFS man .. You could put a video of you making a cup of tea and it'd still be world war three in here. Clio driver was leaving a reasonably sensible gap and by the looks of it, a good job too. Maybe it was lack of concentration, lack of forward planning or shitty tyres and a greasy cold bit...

need a decent bike rack for my 182?

Have you done your measurements properly .. The powder coated bit goes in between the window and the roof.. All tightens up from there. When you get the measurements right it all just works. If thanks to the s**t build tolerences of Le Frenchies your window is too high like one of mine, its...

    Speakers

So put a small sub in the boot ? :S If you upgrade the speakers, you're going to want to amp them too as most HUs are generally waff. You'll need to do component speakers as co-ax ones will have the treble at your knees, but finding something decent which matches the size of the 13cm ones...

    Leaving the clio parked up

I'd just leave it be. Make sure your key unlocks the doors and then take the battery out. Lock it with the keyfob/blipper and the bonnet open (finger on the alarm sensor) so the car is secure then d/c the battery. Pump tyres up or put it on stands. Getting the engine up to temp is...

    I am an idiot

No it does not. 1200kg car + 4x 100kg adults = 1600kg.. 400kg a corner. Now add shock loading and such into the mix. 5-6-700kg+ at each wheel. Through a 10 gram plastic part.... PS: Wheels aren't square, usually. If they are, that might explain the bumpy sensation OP.. :rasp:

    I am an idiot

If the wheel is off centre - how are you getting the bolts into the holes on the hub at all ? SRS question.
