Ha no I doubt it! Unless someone really hates me! I'm going to check the passenger side and see what sort of boot has been used, lowering the car wouldn't of caused this would it?

No different makes didn't really pay attention to makes as I've never had a problem with cv boots but the Clio is testing me!

I replaced my drivers side cv boot back few months ago and last week notched that it had a small hole in the rubber and grease had escaped so I had that replaced on Saturday, the rubber looked to be worn and perished I thought I'd may of been down to the rolling road for remapping last week, got...

Not sure on brand was a green and yellow box? Mechanic couldn't get a genuine one so settled for a different one the make began with L? so I'll see how it goes, it did look perished so I wonder if the heat from the dyno caused it? I felt my tyres and there were rather hot and tacky

Just had the drivers side cv boot replaced again for the 3rd time! Took it off and it looked to have melted so I'm guessing 4 hours on the dyno may have caused this!

Just come back from having a piece of stainless pipe welded on to the end of the cat to create a sleeve to meet the centre box instead of a olive joint! As tight as I could get it there was still a blow! New gasket fitted also so hopefully I have no loud whistle under acceleration!
