Renault state that once the belt has been removed it should not be retensioned. The Tensioner will more thank likely cost more than the whole kit just on its own, stupid i know.
Also the idler comes in the kit to.
Thats your cambelt hanging out in the last pic, aux belt snapped and gone inside the cambelt, engine is toast.
I see your aux belt kit wasn't changed at the same time, tensioner looks very old. Naughty naughty.
Ive snapped a few, we have an engineering who comes out to us, gets the remaining snapped part out in like 10 minutes. Normally now i get the engine nice and hot then they always seem to fly out.
Exterior, as my interior stays quite clean and tidy, however my daughter decided to trample all over my leather seats the other day and put dirty foot prints on the glove box, got to love kids!
