I had Eibach 20mm spacers fitted to my 200, bolt to hub is definatly the way you want too go if your going too. Never had a problem with mine and I chose the Eibach as I know there a reputable name to have.
Only downside of getting them is you'll more than likely get a slight wobble at motorway...
Looking forward to giving the ST a hammering round now! Was originally the 200 and was a bit 50/50 if I should track the new motor as its only got 500 miles on it but lolz
With them being the colour to have on the 200 itll be hard to get one the exact way you want! Me, I never had a problem with them seats they give good support and adjusted easily. But I did have a small eye on swapping for recaros if I had kept the car.
I worked out that it needed belts, tyres and a refurb on the alloys so it worked out I got just over £6000 for it. But it doesn't look like they have done the belts so that's a bargaining tool for the next buyer!
And regarding the recaros id agree, but the standard seats are pretty damn...
It does doesn't it! Scrubs up well...
I thought it was a pretty decent price for it aswell, although belts are due so you could easily knock £500 off that.
Removed the spacers and splitter, but it still has exhaust and springs!
So I traded my old Alien Green in for a new Fiesta ST, I've now found it up for sale at another dealer in Chester.
Reasonable price for a AG! Be nice to keep it on the forums...
I have a 200 so can't comment on the 182's but your best bet is get it checked in with birchdown tell them your thoughts and just ask for a check over see what they think. They both have had Renault sports in the past so they know them like the back of there hands!
