Yeah, you’ll need more than the phone torch though. When I did it I used a huge heavy duty LED one, but people managed it with the CS torch. Have a play around and see what you get anyway :)
Thanks guys. Next time I go I’m going to do some more night time stuff, I’m going to try and get some different scenes/angles but this is always going to be difficult in one of the most heavily photographed areas in the world lol.
Cheers.
Well the night shots are unashamedly cliche, but I don’t care, I wanted to get the cliche shots of my own that I’ve seen other people get before I go looking for something different.
I wouldn’t say that they are dark, just more representative of the actual scene without lurid colours...
Cheers!
Oh the F40 was a dream come true, what a stunning car. I’ve never seen one in the metal before either, that was a special occasion. I heard something round the corner and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it lol.
On saturday I was in London for the day just on a general wander visit, no specific agenda other than to take some photos and enjoy the city. So this time I had a different setup to my last visit in terms of lenses with last time being entirely shot on a 135mm F2L, and this time being a mix of...
Well really, there isn’t all that much to it, but here goes-
The car was placed where there were no other cars in the background that could be distracting, it was also placed next to the puddles so that I could achieve the reflections that add a nice element to the image. The car was also...
So last night, along side Eddie’s E21, I did some photos for Aucky of his Trophy. It looked stunning in this location with the colour being so bright against the dull concrete. So, the photos-

Yeah, I’ll do that when I go back with the fisheye. I wanted to go with a fisheye originally but I didn’t have it before I went. The fisheye would be really cool because in one of their music videos they use a fisheye lens in the video at this location.
Thanks, Brazo. I particularly liked it...
Haha I know. I have some car stuff coming up in the next week so I might leave it until then.
As James said you can’t put filters on it, there’s no thread for a filter. So no beloved CPL ;)
I think it’s probably the screen on the camera being set too bright, it’s giving you a false impression of what it will look like essentially, whereas the computer will show the actual exposure.
I might not be right though with that looking like such a huge difference.
