very nice... good amount of effort gone into that.
but just looking at this picture :
is the front bumper fitting ok - the gap above the number plate doesnt look the same all the way along - on mine it does :
it's been for sale for a few weeks now. i'm dubious of it tbh having read thats it's Cat D for bumper damage only, but it's worth a look and see how good the quality of the repair is and whether you can spot any further damage
it might look wrong but it definitely drives right. you'd be amazed just how much fun it is. And thats coming from someone who's had 2 Trophy's and also regularly drives a 182 as well
probably the very same car i think. we went to aylesbury last night and he was 3 cars behind us... that was at about 8:15. too much of a coincidence me thinks
both are cracking fun... i've had both, well 2 Trophy's in fact and now got a PH1. guess it depends what your budget is, but the PH1 is definitely just as much fun on the road :)
cheers for the nice comments guys... the Flamer is proving to be great fun.... slightly lacking in the straight line speed that my Trophy had but it more than makes up for it in the roundabouts of Milton Keynes.
And yeah i agree, the Liquid is the better of the two, i love it. But just like...
Well, after a few busy weeks we finally got round to getting both cars cleaned and decided to make the most of the sunshine and took them offroad for a few pictures together :
haha... that'll be my GF - Bubbles on here
lol at the collecting... the Liquid Yellow is hers, the Trophy was mine but sold that at the weekend and we've just bought the Mk1 172 - Flame Red.
she's taken it to work today so it'll be her you've spotted, she had the Trophy last week too for her...
it's the type of car that people buy, use and then sell after a short while... i've just sold my Trophy and thats now on it's 3rd owner in a 15 month period. not unusual and not something which i'd be put off by tbh.
anyways... that LY looks like a nice example :approve:
i echo this... having decided on a PH1 i was set to follow the crowd and get a Silver one... however stumbled across a very tidy Red one and opted for that instead :)
great fun... on a par with the Trophy if not a little more fun round the roundabouts of MK. the only thing it's missing is Recaro's and a tad more oooomph of the 182 in a straight line
it's been driving round town with for sale signs in for ages, and then disappeared off the radar. then i found it more by chance than anything the other day and having viewed it realised it was the one to go for. being less than a mile from where i live it was all quite easy to view and then buy...
thanks for all the positive comments....
stopped off on the way home and took just a couple more pictures in the evening sun and with a bit of greenery for a backdrop :
