There is no 'Cup' model. They're all the same spec and interior wise.
you can specify the 'Cup' chassis which gives different springs/dampers/wheels/tyres...apart from that, everything is he same.
If everything is exactly as it should be, as we've been led to believe, there should only be 40kgs difference between the 200T and the ST.
Why is it over 100kgs different?
Did Ford over estimate the weight of the Fiesta and Evo have subsequently found out it's a true fly-weight...or, check...
No, you've got it wrong...my 200 only makes 194bhp...proven on a rolling road.
The point is...generally what Renault state is some way from reality. Power, weight, whatever.
They say it weighs 1,204kgs...it actually weights 1,300kgs.
They say they make 200bhp/PS/whatever, they actually make...
They're not...the weights are real...not Renault's prediction.
Exactly. Same scales, same day, one after the other.
Regardless of what the actual ultimate weights are and how far out their original estimates were...it's the differences between them that's the concern for Renault.
They'd been...
If you're not worried about it being watertight...butcher the one you have?
That's what I did for my microphone lead...have toyed with widening the hole further to take power as well but not got around to doing it yet.
Err, according to this roadtest...it's not lighter or the same as the old 200, it's heavier. Quite a bit heavier too.
Unless I'm reading something wrong...I saw almost 1,300 kgs for the 200T.
Just read the road test...can't argue with their reasoning for placing the Clio 4th although I think that is a bit harsh. Side by side to the average Jo there's little over and above price and personal preference (and the Clio's 'box) that differentiates them. I'm glad I've gone for the ST, but...
I drove 5 miles at lunch then on foot toured every retailer in the town that sold magazines that I could. Not one of them had a copy.
Several had copies of last month's issue.
"...oooooh, noooo, we don't get our deliveries until Tuesday..."
Actual anger.
Stripes? Nice.
I predict brakes, roof spoiler, chairs, revised 'box mapping and 220bhp when it does finally surface (maybe with very slightly firmer springs/dampers to appeal to all the hardcore drivers used to rolling in track cars). Apart from that I don't think they'll mess with it.
A bit more than the budget, but I think these fit the bill perfectly.
A solid performer on track, I was at Bedford last summer on the hottest day of the year, expecting some sign of track abuse at the end of the day yet they looked A1.
At Llandow in the monsoon the grip they gave was...
The steering wheel WILL melt. 100% guaranteed.
Enough went on 172/182s for them to know they had a problem. Did they fix it for the 197/200s?
Nope. My current one gas gone the exact same way.
Still they don't acknowledge it as a problem, so why should they change it for the new one?
£21k for...
You could try making a hole in the outer casing so you can run an external microphone. On the Hero 2 that gives you the option of decent stereo audio instead of the poor mono from the inbuilt mic.
So, had work done, paid the excess only, meaning National Windscreens needed to claim the balance from the insurance policy that you don't actually have? You told them you had the necessary cover and they could get the £110 from your insurer...who rightly told them to jog-on.
Why wouldn't you...
Fully speccing a Fiesta ST-2 up involves adding paint (495), climate (275), and navigation (400)...that's it unless you want a centre rear headrest or a sparewheel.
Even if you paid full list price you're looking at full spec for circa £19k, which would get you into a base non-lux Clio 200T...
I only ever fill my tank to the brim before running it down to the fuel light, have done since the first day I got it.
Average over a full tank; the best I've seen was just over 43mpg (that was hard work though), normally I see 34-37mpg without effort, and if I drive like a tool, it gets down...
Unsurprisingly Spirit Blue with Style Pack gets my vote; I don't think there's too much wrong with this apart from the rear light clusters/fussy rear end which I just can't seem to get along with.
Don't be put off by the 'red'.
In videos and pictures it looks dull, almost burgundy, but in the flesh in the sun, it is stunning. Really really bright.
