Yup, around Bedford with Evo iirc.
Its a bit too pointy/twitchy as standard tbh, so not really surprising that it was a little slower. Setup for road, rather than track out the factory.
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
lol, i noticed that thread on here last night!! Mines currently the colour of brake dust, rubber & faded pink.
Trophy.net dont like me, but i think they allow me to post to see what daft suggestions ill come with next. The...
Tis a shame, T1R's are an excellent tyre for the £30 a corner than they cost me ...
Very good on track as well imho. Far better than PE2's in that respect.
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
Because ive removed the airbag steering wheel :rasp:
You can turn it off with with a 2p resistor from Maplin, but i cant be bothered.
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
Why thank you Nick :star:
To all those that are reading, Ollie, Nick, Sarah & i attended a trackday at Bedford on Saturday. Seeing as Nick was spending quite a bit of time driving Ollie's car, we thought it worthwhile for...
Is that the Cup alternator setup instead of the PMS kit Ollie?
Looking good btw, the crazy fool was up till 3 last night doing all that apparently lol ...
Meh. Newbies.
It was 'Tony Hunters' 182 Cup. What was said about the cars on the day was strangely completely opposite to that which was shown on television ... and i quote:

Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
Front Camber = -2.8 degrees
Front Toe = 1 degree out
Rear Camber = -1.8 degrees (no shims, just broken)
Handles like a go cart!!
Tyres will wear more but as i only use the car for fun, im not too bothered really -...
Why dont you just buy a quicker car?
Like a 182.
Note. The above comment, whilst made in jest, was proven a number of times at the last R Sport trackday.
Ah yes, but they now have a minter for £1750.
They could have bought an average Ph1 (which would still have been sh1t) and ended up spending 1500+1500 ;)
I'll go against the grain. I hate 'stance'.
In addition, thats considerably more than -1.5 degrees on the back lol, mines -1.8 and looks nowhere near that broken.
Just in case you havent though this through properly ..
By being the test mule, your car will be mapped to blowing point, then toned down a bit. Tbh, im not entirely sure i'd want to do it.
Thought i'd mention something else, seeing as everyone now thinks their clio is faster than an M3. With a good driver, or someone who can actually drive RWD quickly ...
An M3 would rip a clio a new ar53hole.
Hell, i could keep up with a lot of highly tuned 1*2's in my 328i Sport with 150k...
Trophy Sachs setup goes for about £500 2nd hand.
Just wait a while, as they get cheaper, Neds will simply fit coilovers for lows, subsequently flogging their Sachs kits.
On those types of roads a clio SHOULD be able to keep up with an M3 quite easily to be honest.
Narrow, twisty stuff, rather unsurprisingly, isnt a 1500kg, RWD cars, favourite hunting ground.
