Yup, around Bedford with Evo iirc. Its a bit too pointy/twitchy as standard tbh, so not really surprising that it was a little slower. Setup for road, rather than track out the factory.

RB 'Trophy' is owned by the gf of BG 'Trophy' iirc, ie Jack Davey. At the end if the day, its a clio, not sure why anyone really cares tbh.

Tis a shame, T1R's are an excellent tyre for the £30 a corner than they cost me ... Very good on track as well imho. Far better than PE2's in that respect.

My Sportlines actually improved the ride over the standard Trophy Eibachs.

Just in case you havent though this through properly .. By being the test mule, your car will be mapped to blowing point, then toned down a bit. Tbh, im not entirely sure i'd want to do it.

Thought i'd mention something else, seeing as everyone now thinks their clio is faster than an M3. With a good driver, or someone who can actually drive RWD quickly ... An M3 would rip a clio a new ar53hole. Hell, i could keep up with a lot of highly tuned 1*2's in my 328i Sport with 150k...

Trophy Sachs setup goes for about £500 2nd hand. Just wait a while, as they get cheaper, Neds will simply fit coilovers for lows, subsequently flogging their Sachs kits.

On those types of roads a clio SHOULD be able to keep up with an M3 quite easily to be honest. Narrow, twisty stuff, rather unsurprisingly, isnt a 1500kg, RWD cars, favourite hunting ground.

Thats trade price. So working at the Audi dealer, he's paying what they bought it in for. Sounds like a decent enough deal to me.
