Start with the least aggressive polish, and work your way up to the power gloss. Also, a couple of runs in IP may be better than going straight to the power gloss too.

As a beginner using the G220, I think its great! I've had no problems with it so far, and am having a great time using it, although it can be a bit knackering! Just always start with the least aggressive polish and you cant go wrong!
