If the D40 is like my D200, then just put into A for aperture priority, select which aperture you want and click away.

Amyway I really dont know what to say to these 'What settings?' posts, as each shot is different, so the settings will be different.
If you use a tripod, you wont need a high ISO.
What other settings are you not sure about?
With care! I snapped one of the 'prongs' on the clio badge and had to araldite it back on!
The front diamond just pulls off.
The rear diamond requires you to take the bit of plastic off the boot lid, and the boot release lock off.
Do a search, it is described on here as I did it fine :)
Just be aware that panning takes A LOT of practice, Ive been doing it for years and Im still no expert.
Just look for a good telephone lens, if you can try to avoid the lens that TRY to cover all the focal ranges, like the 50-500mm. They are hopeless (or the ones I have seen are!).

Stick to the 1/60th 1/50th mark, and you'll get much better photos, depending on how far you are from the subject of course!

In October I had 4 yrs NCB, so I will have 4 yrs and 6 months (in March). If I cancel my current policy, and start a new one - can I transfer the 4 yrs WITH the 6 months NCB? Or can I only transfer the 4 full years?
I ask because I am thinking of moving insurance, but if I loose half a years...
I would go for anthracite. I have an artic clio too, and I thought black was just too dark (it makes the tyres look s**t too!)
