flickr is great - even pro membership is about $20 a year - unlimited uploads.
Pics above were all taken with the D90 and Sigma 70-200mm f2.8. I've had mixed results with it do far - wide open at 200mm its pretty soft, stop it down a bit and it improves 100%. Its not the sharpest or longest...
wedged lens under headrest, and used a tripod to support the body. Set shutter speed to 10 seconds and find decent road.
My head unit is a bit bright i must admit!
When i was at silverstone a couple of months ago, it pissed it down all day. I used one of those waterproof ponchos they give out, wrapped the camera up in it and stuck the lens through the neck hole/hood. Worked a treat!
massive leap as said, and you'll need more than a 50mm to do weddings. Its a shed load of money for the body and probably the same again for decent glass.
If you can justify spending the best part of £5k on camera equipment or get jobs which will pay for it, then do it!
Met up with my sister today in oxford and took a few quick pics. I'd love to spend a bit more time there as there is some very impressive architecture. There is a bit of processing on some to try and improve on the overexposed skys.
