its a well put together and great vid, but they've cleary done loads of editing and probably took him 100 goes to do each bit. the camera on top of the car magically disappears 1/2 way through!

D40 with £70 50mm f1.8 - be prepared to use manual focus. Or you could buy my D50?

Daylight its fine, superb quality. Under artificial lights, it flickers noticably. I found that this can be eliminated by pointing the camera at some midtones/shadows, where the wavy lines disappears, then holding exposure lock and recomposing on the subject. Hey presto the lines are completely...

£140. Its in the for sale section. You can get an 18-55mm for about £40/50 Wouldn't mind the kit lens, but I've heard its a bit naff.

Its a good all round lens, and will be perfect for walking round a city with. It does nothing particularly well though, although the VR system works a treat.

Just ordered one from jessops - managed to get them to price match with an online retailer and got it for £599 & free delivery. I've sold a fair bit of kit to make way for this - i hope its worth it. (D50 body for sale btw)

I think i know the answer to this, but I'm off to see Everton vs Fulham on saturday. My mate is a season ticket holder and has got seats on the front row level with the halfway line - prime spot for some photos. Are you allowed to take "professional cameras"?
