I probably wouldn't go into Motorsport for the reasons you said, tbh it just finding a job full stop in the world of photography, but I'm not fussy either way, I enjoy shooting a lot of things. I might send an email to the series, see what they say, just my age that restricts what I can do...
Haha Cheers, I’ve had restaurants use my work such as this one- http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pizzeria-Golf-Park-di-Lorenzo-Brugoni/310588149242 and I got an email from a magazine regarding a picture of mine, so its all publicity :) Anyway Thanks, means a lot, I’m defiantly going to stick at it...
Cheers! and I know, oh well, hope you get it fixed! :)
Well thats what I’m hoping anyway James! I’d love a career in photography, a job that I could enjoy and I doubt I’d ever get bored of! :)
And 15 in 3 months ;) Thanks mate, Means a Lot!
Becoming pro is also an excuse to get good gear...
Cheers!
Its a good event, I’ve been to it the past 2 years :) and Thanks.
Cheers Mate! and its pretty nice in colour, I’ll put one up in a bit, although the contrast between the white car and darker surroundings worked better in B&W :)
Of course yeah, as someone who isn’t a serious landscape photographer I can’t justify the price and effort involved, someone like yourself would defiantly find a use for them, depends how far the OP wants to take it :)
In 8 there are some dust specs on your sensor, I had that problem and I got it sorted, in the short term you can just use the spot removal in lightroom. Also the over exposed sky problem can also be sorted in Lightroom with a Graduated filter (the Lightroom one, not a real one) until you get an...
Saw this Parked up on saturday with the diffuser off and I was wondering what was wrong, its a shame as I was looking forward to seeing it on track too, unlucky mate:dapprove:

Get a polariser, an absolute Must for automotive stuff!
And experiment with different angles, like from the ground to up high, i.e.

After the 18-55 I went for a 55-200. I wanted it because I felt that 55mm was just too short especially for shooting motorsport, wildlife etc. Then I got my 35 1.8 and its brilliant, stays on the camera most of the time just for general shooting, but still, when you’re starting out I’d get the...
Yeah I’ve noticed the halo around some, probably down to pp. And the rule of thirds was used in the original shot and isn’t a million miles off in the final picture, but with changing the distortion and straightening horizons the image had to be cropped to not get a grey triangle in the corners...
Looks Great, the image quality and noise performance cannot be knocked there! Looks like you can get pretty shallow depth of field’s too which is pretty cool for a compact. That price though, ouch, DSLR money :/
This type of shot would look brilliant with a nice shallow DoF, I’d invest in a fast prime, the nifty fifty would be a great chice with it being so cheap, then pair it up with a circular polariser and the results will be stunning :)
I took this similar shot of Sebs MX5 with my 35mm F1.8
Got...
Yeah, some of that might be to do with the distortion corrections in lightroom where I’ve had to crop the picture, In hindsight theres a few things I’d have changed, I’ll have to pay another visit one time, I would have liked to get a lower PoV but the tripod only went that low.
Cheers :)...
