yep. the only reason to get a more expensive one is if the cable length is going to be more than 20meters; this is where good quality cabling will make the SNR better and thus might allow for a signal to be distiguished from the noise without a repeater.

No they wont, the bandwidth on the RF signal is to narrow to show any difference (provided your getting a good symbol rate and as high quality level signal with low bit error).

Last time I checked, the TP's on 28.2e were using S2 - they havent used S for about a year!!

unless your cables were going long distance, then it would make no difference! Its just something that was carried over from Component cables...

you could also just get a high pass filter to put between your HU and amp if it dosnt have one built in. alternativly, you could also use a crossover to redirect the bass I suppose...

Get an android phone. The only reason the iphone is the best selling phone is becasue its the only phone that runs ios. As shown here, there are actually more Android phones being sold, but they dont get the handset figures as there are many phones ot choose from... I know lots of iphone...
