Thanks guys. It's all new to me and I'm getting all confused! I have a body shop near my work that one of the chaps recommended as he's still on good terms with the owner as he used to work there. I'm going to cancel the CoPart and take it there instead. They do insurance work and I'm told it'll...
Yes, for the little price it is for new and piece of mind.
You'll be gutted it you fit the cooksports and have the tracking done only to have the shocks go a few months later and buy new shocks and have the tracking paid for again.
My damage is:
F*cked front bumper
Broken headlight brackets (glass is intact but the headlight wobbles)
Grill pushed back
Slight crease in bonnet
Small crack on wing
I know Scott! Feels like one thing after another! I must admit, my heart sank a bit tbh 😧
I'm guessing it's a write off then due to parts cost and labout? FFS 😧
My now main concern is the vehicle being taken away on Friday. Is this the correct procedure? Don't want my car going...
Hmm, this is where im confused. He said the car gets taken away to be accessed and then the engineer reports back to the insurer and we go from there. He only wants the main key, no V5, MOT, service, etc.
The company is called CoPart.
Few things have happened.

New steering wheel came the other day. At first it felt great, but after driving with it i realised that i dont like it.
Got the...
Thanks guys :)
Graham, the pics make it look cleaner than it is but there's a Tesco near where your belts are being done and they sell sponges for 35p..... Just saying!
You can buy one in much better condition with belts done for £1.5k.
But if you can get the belts done cheap and bodywork done cheap then it might be worth a look.

Tbh I wouldn't bother enlarging the TB. You won't get a lot of power out of these so the basic mods are where it's best without spending big bucks (ported inlets, induction kit/S-bend induction kit, exhaust, decat and...
They are smaller than the ph2. Last of the cable throttle. Parts are getting harder to get but looks cooler than ph2's. I did do a comparison (all in my experience and opinion) in my thread. Click the link under my avatar.
Seems quite honest and with a bit of money it could be a decent little...
Yep. Lots of grip and you just cut to suite.

Drove into the back of somebody Monday morning. No one else involved but me and the car in front. What is the max time length they have to make a claim against me?
Mark.
