Ill take them out after the next track day and measure, if it caries on wearing ill wire brush the carrier and buy some new pad shims..

Mine did, although I got the £115 clarke one (still not amazing...)
Although in my experience, the nuts are never tight, just no way of holding the damper shaft as its nearly always rounded...
Go to machine mart and buy the £70 impact gun.
Makes life sooooooooooooo much easier working on the car...
Even removing the wheel, crack the bolts with a breaker bar, then buz them right out...

We had a 106 track car, got fed up with building it as we took it a bit far, no heater, new engine, nothing was off the original car, so broke it for parts and got the Ph1 for £1400 iirc, sold the interior and used some money left from the 106 and got the tyres, whiteline seats etc..

Are they standard Gti/vts calipers?
Try some 266mm disks and calipers from a 306 etc...
Had them with standard pads on my old Bianca Rallye, they were spot on!

I did wonder what the hole in the wheel was for, thought it was to make it easier to balance the wheels after tyre fitment....

But has anyone managed to fit a good harness bar without it being in a cage?
Done some searches but only found clowns with them wrapped round the rear strut brace..
If I mounted a horizontal bar across from the wheel arches, when you'd mount the back feet of a cage...
