Right getting my clio sorted just booked in at sjm to do the belts after losing interest in spending money on it decided to just spend a few quid and enjoy it for another year and then get something else as my mrs is looking to buy a 200 I have to 1 up the b**ch and get a 200 edc at least
So...
Come the summer I'm well up for a few drives, been saving some more money for a few more updates to the clio so hopefully by the end of may it'll be mechanically were I want it and by the end of summer I will get it all cleaned up of the bumps it's had the last 2 years -_- (living by a primary...
@Filters Yeah mate so should be good for it, hopefully get my bumper repaired and painted before it and the car will be looking tidy enough.
But I got so much to save for this year it's just beyond, I'm thinking get the car out the way should be good for a year or two
@Filters I decided on a clio refresh went with all new suspension along with a new mot passed before I had the suspension renew so could have left that a bit longer...
Had a bit of a drive down to Swansea last Sunday and the engine started tapping very loud.. nursed it home and by the time I got...
I'm game for this but have to let you know in March time as I'm planning a trip to the daytona nascar or texas motorspeedway
Although I may wait till next year instead I'm undecided so in due time I'll let you know
Cheers buddy I got a quote off him he's really competitive in prices just gotta get new coilovers before I can book it in with him as he's going to fit them too, just can't decide which set to buy -_-
@Filters I need to find a garage that's willing to do the can belt and auxiliary belt plus fit me some new coil overs and maybe some solid top mounts any recommendations I don't mind traveling since I was gonna give ktec a call for the work but if there's anyone closer and better so to say I'll...
Hey guys! Been on a saving mission end of this year I dunno if I should revamp the 182 all new bits or just sell it and get something different, if anyone has something interesting for sale let me know
Might not be able to make this sorry guys, didn't know that I'd made plans with my old man... we try to watch a few races a year together and this week was planned months ago just didn't realise it was this weekend
We'll I'm gutted just spent 700 quid on the 182 -_- good sides are new brakes all around with new pipes too, no more noise when turning the wheel just I'm officially skinnt now till pay day :(
I been working like a dog non stop -_-
I get my car back tomorrow as it went in for new rear discs (left bearing failed)
Wanted my cv ends done turns out I had to buy a pair of driveshalfs so that's gonna rinse my bank when I go get it :(
My partner is doing her level 3 in auto body repair (spraying and all that jazz) does anyone know any places that would give her a weekend job or even through the week she just needs a place to be for experience and her portfolio... long shot but I gotta ask
Haven't even used my clio since the last meet... so it very very dusty and smells pretty rancid inside I might just have to book mine in for a valet but I'm more than up for the BBQ I'll bring the hot dogs :p
Soo... looks like i missed the drama... i will say i personally didnt notice the smell of weed at the last meet, but as been said theres a time and place for it and when your driving its just silly
Sorry guys I'm a mess and cannot drive today, stayed up all night watching the nascar with friends and family no way would i survive today... sorry again i did want to come aswel
Well worst case is a drive shaft pops out... its knocking like crazy i just dont wanna change nothing till i get new coilovers which i cannot justify buying untill the end of this month... god dam life on the breadline -_-
I might just stroll along at the back tbh i just dunno if its a good idea
Im in two minds for this now... still havent got my new coilovers the car sounds like a bag of s**t when turning -_- just dunno if its worth trying it out...
Last time i went it was 30 quid the robbing buggers... but its only 5 mins up the road from me so i'll definitely come what ever day you end up having it on.... but not 100% on if i'll do a run because of the ramp on the dyno
Im planning on buying new coil overs at the end of this month so...
When my clio was up indigo it was standard and the car drove up the ramps and they pretty much tank it over the first spinners (no idea what their called... just where your rear wheels would be)
Due to them having to go over them so quickly other wise they cant pass them it was very close indeed...
Indigo is good shout been there for a rolling road when i first had the clio... only problem is you'd struggle to get a lowered car on their dyno'd my clio at standard height was touch and go... definitely wouldnt even attempt it at my height now.....
Theres another dyno place in swansea area i...
Im not too sure about this one yet guys
Theres a few things going on around july and the following month so not 100%
Also yeah gotta agree burger king didn't cut it for me, we need proper food maybe a cafe some where theres 3 in builth wells only problems are the parking for everyone
