I like it, its just different. I guess it's because I haven't seen it done like that before. The workmanship is fantastic, as with all he's stuff.
Keep the "Renault Sport" as it is for now ;)
Scweeet! Love the inlet colour. I'd be tempted to leave it as it is rather than sanding the lettering off.
Wheel looks great too. I'm a bit unsure on the lettering, but snappys work is immense!
Mine was done by agency transmissions recently after having the same smytoms as you currently have. Luckily my engine and box was out of the car anyway but it was £45 to pallet the gearbox each way and £275 for the rebuild.
Got it back and the cover plate had leaked due to a dodgy seal. Shame...
Thanks guys. In will get her to phone diamond and see how much it'll be with mods declared.
The main mods will be wheels, coilovers/lowering springs, exhaust, IK, few exterior and interior mods. No engine mods other than the ones mentioned.
Forgot to mention she currently insures with Diamond for £350 per year and I'm currently with Greenlight. I'm not sure if Greenlight do a multi policy.
She did a quote with Diamond on the GTI and it came out at £585 but the modification side of it will rise drastically I'm assuming.
My missus is looking into getting a hot hatch of some description. Currently has 4yrs NCB, will be 5 in August, due to the bonus accelerator scheme. Her age is 22, but will be 23 in June.
She currently has a 1.2 K12 (2005) Micra but keeps saying she wants something to have a bit of fun in and...
Raider looks awesome. Much better in this colour over the flat dull red IMO.
I've always liked S2's 106's and like yours but the S1 above looks great too!
Lastly, welcomew :)
Gonna be rocking up in the micra but not running it up the strip. The thing shifts like crazy so don't want to upset the big power boys so ill just spectate and mingle
Does this car ever look crap?! Even when it's covered in sh*t it still looks awesome. If I ever got a 182 I'd definitely look at getting a RB with stripes.
Glad it performed well on track :) Herad many good things about the RC5+ pads. Would like to try them myself but I don't think they come in...
Also lowering slings that are recommended are Cooksports or Eibach Sportlines. I've had both and the Cooksports offer a slightly stiffer ride but lower it more than the sportlines but the sportlines are more comfortable. Either are good for daily driving and harder drives.
Apex will give you...
The yellow on the trims and badge is a bit much. Imo you be better having subtle yellow stuff like the yellow lettering on the gear knob and 2.0 16v badges. But that's just my opinion and it's your car!
Seems a decent buy regarding the mileage/service.
