I had the vmaxx on my 182 from new for nearly 2 years. Mine was a daily, never saw track. I didn't actually mind the ride. Could be bumpy, but not uncomfortable. They went quite low. However the rear shocks aren't that strong. Mine gave up after a year so I ran with cup rear shocks, but still...
But remember the standard wheel has the boss on the back whereas the sabelt above does not so it's sitting flat, giving the illusion that's it's massively smaller.
The difference is only about 50mm between the 2, however they feel totally different once fitted.
I'd love to see a snappy retrim...
If you get them from Renault Wolverhampton they are £151 with our discount. Ktec sell them for £202 iirc. Probably somewhere in between from a normal Renault dealership without discount.

They will be. I've experienced both and the b14's out perform the vmaxx in every way. In the vmaxx's defence, for the money they aren't that bad but the bilstiens will be loads better.
Are you set on those or do you have others in mind? What's the budget?

Airbag is a piss easy job. 2 clips/torx (can't remember which is ph1 and which is ph2) on the back (easy to get to if you turn the wheel 90 degrees each way) then remove the clips underneath the airbag then a t50 torx to undo the wheel. Some recommend undoing the battery and waiting 20mins...
