Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco I gave in with fitting the bumper. Turned out the loop on the wing for the bolt had snapped off so it wouldn't attach. Aercocates are ideal for me anyway as i have a tendency to take the front bumper of pretty reguarly. I also fitted them so well I nearly fainted...

Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco Well the car runs, it hasnt got an exhaust on so I quickly fired it up and its running fine. Still need to bleed all the fluids through once the exhaust is on. Ph2 Full plastics are in. Still got to sort the cigarette lighter, hazard switch and heater controls...

Just come anyway! People can come and not run. In other news my car will be running as of tomorrow, so in theory i shall be there on the 4th :)

Losing rear wiper was the best thing I did to mine, rear window you can't see much out of anyway lol. cars looking nice mate :)

In all seriousness running the filter there will be fine, how often do you drive in water that goes above your door sills? You dont. Running it there with out arch liners is a different story, one that i am going to regret i feel.

Times are hard for some of us! ;) i agree with it deafening me slowly.

I dont miss it. Spend half my life driving a van with no aircon, windows fully down constantly in this weather.

I wouldnt pay £3k for that. At that milage its probably on original oil still. I now know where my door sills things are from, an exclusive no. 107 (or something)

Re: dmallett's 421'd monaco Spent a solid 2 hours on the car and it will now run again with an air filter and exhaust on it, well in theory it should. Megane aux set up fitted and polo rad and hoses. All fluids changed on the car, coolant needs bleeding and i need to check ive wired the fan...

Read you went for a long life in the end Dom, was it that place at stonham barns?
