Failsport do ... Le Mans 2011

Right then you gays. The agent has now got back to me, & essentially, as we are looking to stay in the most popular/bestest campsites, they sell out rather early. As such, in order to 'reserve' our places, we would need to pay a £40 deposit now, with the remainder to be paid in January ...

    Goodwood moving motorshow - Suspended.

Getting bored of the ph1 'track' car already......

Do a track day, man up, or go out at 3am and enjoy the car properly. Llandow do full days for about £80 at least once a month. Its a trek from yours, but make a weekend of it & go up the black mountains, evo triangle, etc as well.

172 or 182? Help me decide.

    Personally, & having had a 172 cup, a 182 & a Trophy. Id either spend £3.5k and get a cup, or £6.5k and get a Trophy.

Fail. Individual Tb's are standard on M's ;)
  11. Sir_Dave

Would love this as a track toy :P

Not much use as a track car though, iirc 99% of trackdays dont allow open wheelers ...

    15" or 16"

Are you using 205's on the 16's, vs 195's on the old 15's - if so, that would explain the plantedness :)

    Trophy Fun @ Club Weekender

That looks awesome!!!! Where is it, & how do you go about hiring the place? Also, no helmet? Obviously not trying very hard :rasp: PS. Your wiper stalk guide is very good.

    15" or 16"

Most people buy 15's as they go on track often & tyres (inc. R888's) are cheaper. 9 times out of 10, they arent the type of people that are interested in what a car looks like.

    Sir_Dave's 328i Sport Project

Thanks :o It was indeed a nail lol, a rather well maintened one though. Bought on 120k, sold on 146k after 6 months!! Amazing what a difference a bit of polish, some wheels off eBay & a few bits trim can make to a car, about £950 profit in fact ;)

    Sir_Dave's 328i Sport Project

I think for me, the perfect look would be the original finish on the wheels, but low like it is now - basically what i had originally planned, before the 'it fits in the garage, but only if i get out the sunroof' incident. He's into all this 'stance' & 'hellaflush' boll0cks as well though, so...
