I may be able to...
Wang it on ebay, reserve at £1800. Make an ideal track car.
Or, buy the Turinis that are on here for £150, it may sound strange, but people will be put off by the fact they arent on there. My initial thought was the car had been binned/unloved for example ....
Re: My new saxo vtr
Did you buy some brand new :S
Ooft. More money than sense lol ...
1. Join sax-p, pay membership
2. Buy cheap parts
3. Dont buy anything new
PM away :D
With regards to team selection, having organised the original 5-a-side (& now the league with Mike), i would suggest that CS regulars have a priority for selection.
However, if & when they are unavailable/cant be bothered to turn up, the subsequent order should be as follows:
1. CS Regulars...
Re: My new saxo vtr
You need:
Bilstein B8's with Faulkner 155lb springs or a Spax PSX setup
Comp Mo's
GE Quickshift
Saxsport
GTi6 brakes (clio 172 pads fit & are bigger)
Lose the cage
Nice. I love saxo's ....
Always a good time, & you get to look at some cars other than clio's for a change ... In the afternoon, they show the Grand Prix on their huge screen as well

A vtr would be perfect for that then.
Cost f*ck all to run, great to drive, would release loads of £££'s and Failsport can fix it for peanuts when it does fall apart ...
I love the fact that Renault is flooding the market with these cheapo 200's!!!
Means that in 2 years time when the Trophy's fallen apart, they'll be thousands of them at auction for me :D
You were literally around the corner from me then lol ... i was in a VW Camper, stuck in PZ54 with a load of campervan driving paedo's !!!
Did you get up to Dunlop Curves/Esses/Tetra Rouge and of course Arnage (at night) as well? - true awesomeness!!
You look at saxo's in parts, not as a whole:
BMC CDA carbon - £50
raceland 4-2-1 manifold £90
supersprint centre pipe - £50
supersprint 2 inch race backbox - £70
Sparco Crimson Alloy wheels - £200
Geronimo cages 6 point, 38mm, bolt in roll cage - £200
omp corsica replica steering wheel - £50...
Not sure tbh, not for a little while yet i wouldnt have thought. I can however provide highly competitive finance rates if required - all i need is your V5 ;)
Going to phone some people tomorrow & see how early we need to declare our interest/book, etc. Dont want to miss the decent campsites!!
Too right!! :D
Well, i was very lucky this year in that my boss paid for it all as my bday present :o So i just took spending money, ie £100 which i spent entirely on beer & chips ... so last year is a better indication of monies:
700 miles / 35mpg = £110 in fuel per car.
2 per car = £55 in...
Well after my 2nd awesome weekend there, & after several discussions with other Surrey members as of late, im happy to organise a group one for next year. I know a few other people from CS went this year & loved it as well :star::
Provisional Details are:
Race 11-12th June 2011
We would...
