you dont need a trigger for a D90 and SB600 - I dont use one.
Pop your d90 into commander mode and set the settings you want on the right channel. The set the flash into wireless mode, on the same channel and you're away!
Only down-side is you have to have your pop up flash on. Saves moonar...
What's the point in enjoying photography if you have to put time restrictions. Just take a year, and get 52 photo's in your own time. That's what I'm doing.
What's it for?
I've not done much of it, but was pleased with what i did do at goodwood: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mahoosive/sets/72157620912703636/
I've got a Crumpler Matchmaker which is a good size and can fit the macbook in too. Quite comfy, but i'm running out of room!

Pulled my finger out finally:
01 - A - Apple
02 - B - Belief
03 - C - Controller
Slightly tedious alphabet links, but they work for me.
Apparently I'm an Apple product photographer, or at least I think so.
Right, new kit has arrived.
Currently in the bag is:
Nikon D90
Sigma 24-70mm f2.8
Nikkor 50mm f1.8
Sigma 70-200mm f2.8
Nikon SB-600
Plus an array of cleaning kit, square filters, batteries and a Macbook - My bags getting toooo heavy!
All that's left to get is a Sigma 12-24mm wideboy. Not...
I'm decided to try and theme mine. I will be going through the alphabet twice in my 52. 26x2 is 52, isn't it?
This weeks effort will be A, for Apple.... I'll post once edited.
Another way - take two shots. One metered for the sky, another for the foreground. Takes a bit of playing with spot metering though, which can be tricky to master.
ND grad filters might sort you out.
I adjust a lot of my skies in Photoshop though.
these were sorted in PS: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2768/4208320273_abc65ab759.jpg & http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4008/4208315701_a05e55a54a.jpg
