Lol buy a megane, swap engine and sell the rest of the Meg. That's how it'll cost £200[emoji106]
It'll still be a massive achievement if you can convince her in doors though. [emoji23][emoji23]
I've just read all this and wow you've put some cash into it! It looks great though now and must be one of very few R27 in albi blue. I'd replace the graphics if it were mine, but carry on looking after it as you are mate, it's great.
Bought and printed my tickets today. Saturday is looking OK to give the car a quick wash too[emoji106].
Anyone want to meet just up the road and go in together?
It sounds like the car has had a fair amount of love and money poured into it at some stage. Sometimes you need to dig a little too get to the truth.
Glad to hear it's been given a clean bill of health and you're enjoying it, but where's the pics?
That's unlucky with the tyre, at least the seller was cool and refunded you though. What's happening with the RB's suspension? I see you're selling the cooksports.

If anyone wants to add me on ps4 my psn is DENTY225. I'm on at weekends so anyone who doesn't burn all the content on the reset day is most welcome! Make sure you put cs in the message though or you'll get the usual stalker response [emoji23]
I spotted a gold 70's corvette last week. I was surprised at how small it looked among modern cars. I've been in love with the shape of them since I had a matchbox one when I was a kid.
Good to see it's passed to a worthy custodian. As you say, old and reliable don't usually go together well! General interest in the mk1 172 seems to be on the up so I'm sure it's worth keeping as many on the road as possible. Good luck with it @mintno1
I'm on cup turinis with 195/45 s drives with 10mm stub axle spacers. Shocks were new last year and look bone dry. Maybe it's just the extra ballast on the driver's side. I'll have to diet some[emoji1]
Yeah Steve's the only one who's defected so far. We've had a few show meets but without you nobody wants to go to the Huntsman! Go karting last month was a good laugh, RV is supposed to be organising another one of those soon. I might try organise a huntsman meet at the end if this month. Keep...
