I can't see why it would raise if they were dead. Maybe the fronts are dead and have dropped? Maybe it's just an illusion. Mines sat at 59/60 cm from road to arch at the rear if you want a quick comparison.
If they are leaking just stick your head under the back and have a look, they will be wet with oil. If you're not sure give them a wipe and look again after a couple of journeys.
At least that's an actual progress update! The ball is now rolling, maybe slowly at first but there's no stopping it now. I'm excited to see it progress and I've not read the whole back story. You must be positively buzzing now!
Quick spin on the lathe to put a chamfer on the spacers bore for clearance as pointed out by @JamesBryan just hope it's big enough! I'll fit them tomorrow if it's dry.
I've also partially stripped the scenic shifter ready for bending the shaft. I've had a chat with Yanoo and will be getting...
It sounds like it's already had the cog bodge done on it for the hot/cold. Strange that the fan should go ape s**t at the same time it'll only blow but. I think it's your car punishing you for not using it more [emoji16].
When you finally collect your trophy you MUST take someone to video it. I think it will be an amazing moment that you will want to relive over and over again. Plus we all want to see you sob with happiness like a little girl [emoji23][emoji106]
I think I prefer the timed session to a race anyway. I expect more cuntish driving in a race! And £20 sounds much better too[emoji16]. @RV. Needs to do a poll though for venue and date. I can't do one on my phone cos I'm old and don't know how to [emoji16].
It'd be a travesty if that got broken. Fair enough put a standard lump in if the effort to sort the issue can't be justified, but anyone who fully strips a petrol blue needs a good slap.
It doesn't look that bad really. Don't think it's been stood a very long time. It's super cool though. One of my cousins rebuild one years ago. He went to night school to learn spannering and upholstery and did it all himself. One only seen pics of it but he did an amazing job on it. So much want.
Winter is rapidly approaching and the headlamps on the wife's 2015 Mk4 clio are s**t. Anyone recommend some decent dipped beam bulbs I can fit? Is the whole world going to led bulbs now or are they just as shite in normal headlamps?
Honestly mate it's not that tidy up close. The front end needs painting because of all the stone chips and the rest needs a good hit with a DA. There's a few cats I'd like to own but when I start looking I always then think of ways to keep the clio too. The wife would never sanction that though...
