Was a good day. I couldn't enjoy it as much as I had a killer headache that just wouldn't go away. Pulled up at some services and got a quick 1/2hr nap on the way home. Should of done it on the way there!
Weather was decent, as was the turnout. Was good to see and catch up with old faces and...
Have you got 8x flat washers for the hex head bolts and nylocs?
For anybody else that wants to know part numbers for genuine Renault shock bolts and nylocs:
*The front shock bolts part number is: 77 03 002 835 - £5.75 each
*The front shock bolt nylocs part number is: 77 03 034 265 - £1.99 each
Light anthracite for me. Subtle but enough to see it. Not t to much were in a year's time you'll be repainting it again, classy where it won't look out of place in a year's time.
Ph2 stuff does make it look cleaner. My clear side repeaters are in my car, all ready for you. I've washed one out the best I can as it had a bit of mould in. Not 100% gone but better than it was.
I did, but have moved onto a company named Evanta. We produce Aston Martin replicas as well as TV stuff and special projects. This Cortina is having all the bodywork modified and sprayed in house as well as engine fit and interior fit.
Yes as the 1600 is only temporary. All the body work will get sought after and painted and standard engine fitted to use for a bit before the V8 goes in, just to get the car in motion and to a few shows etc.
Looks tidy. Liked it when Ben had it. I'd say it's now in good hands but.....
I've got those clear side repeaters for you. Front bumper looks like it fits well too. You keeping it on the F1's?
I knew it wasn't for you but wasn't too sure if you fitted them. I now remember reading about them in your van now. Colour aside, are they as good performance as the nightbreakers would you say?
Scott, have you got any pics of the previous bulbs you had. Coming from HID's to Osram's I feel they look too yellow. Light output is good but I'm after something less dated looking, ideally without going back to HID's.
