Well looks like this could be my last update while owning the car, made a proper rear wiper blank
Drove about abit and got it rather mucky
Then cleaned it again ready to put it up for sale 😢
And lost a headlight washer
Yeah it's not a bad car definitely quicker than the clio up to 70mph ,bit boat like though after having the clio what was on coilovers. Just liked my clio more for some reason I'm not sure why ahah
Yeah the tdi engines seem to have a lot of potential , when budgeting things always add a little...
Yeah it's still going well thanks mate really like it , but still find myself wanting another clio ahah been looking at the silver 172 replica in the forsale section
Mate of mine used to have a 1.9tdi seat , was a real nice car and went well too:up:
Shame I dint read this before I took my clio off the road as I would have taken you out in it and given you an idea if how one goes . Mines only a 65 but it's much nicer on the road than my sister 1.2 even tho it's not actually much faster it just fels it cause theres so much more torque...
Asked before but had no reply ,
51 reg dci 65
Done 119k
Some service history and cam belt done at 81k
About 8 months MOT
Coilovers and spacers
Full 172 replica , I'm thinking around 850 on 172 wheels , what's your thoughts please as I've really not got much of an idea?
Okay thanks mate,
Makes scence about not gripping it to much on a hot day, he drives it like an old man though so I don't think there's to much worry of him pulling and griping on it to much
As above , my dad has just brought his second mk3 clio 200. In his first one the steering wheel had worn very badley and was very dirty.
On the new car however it is in mint condition and very clean,
My questions is what is the best product to use when cleaning this and is there anything it can...
Yeah it did look fairly solid when I first got it but I've done outter wings, repaired the inner wings and kick panels, new front panel, repaired boot floor and inner and outter rear arches as well at the rear of the sills so far 😂
No mate xr wasn't mine it was my dad's, he's had a...
Update time
Went and collected a couple more bits the other night, this was a sport steering wheel which changed the feel of the car so much, I think it must be one of the best mods done so far.
I also got all the associated trims to match and a set of Renault sport mats at a bargain price ...
Yeah it's always better on a hot day, things get scarey when it's wet or cold 😂. Yeah just a couple if interior bits will update my project thread later though
Yeah I only run coilovers as they were on the car when I got it , there a little harsh on most roads, least with springs it's actually a functional mod with the beniffit of good looks
with my coilovers and the Toyo's on a nice hot day you would be surprised what you can hang onto in the twisty...
Reckon you should invest in coilovers and sticky tyres before an exhaust mate , then you'll be really impressed by the handling  And you mate won't stand a chance
