Mine was lowered -45mm all round on 240mm length, 155lb Faulkner springs with Bilstein B8's all round. It sat much higher at the back though due to the lack of weight + thats the natural stance which i didnt want to mess about with!!
I built it, to a VERY high spec, for £2.4k. Considerably...
bwwwaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrppppppp, pop pop pop pop pop, bang bang bang ..
pitch in, lift, dab of oppo
bwwwaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrppppppp
We broke it on Monday night. Now sits on axle stands in Budgie's garden :(
I blame the Pizza and pint before playing :rasp:
Seriously though, was a serious wakeup call. We are all very unfit.
Im going for a run tonight lol ...
Just bundle round to mine 1st - need to make the most of the facilities really.
We'll all be round at yours after 5th June Nick, maybe you could ask your dad to coook us all dinner ;)
1. If its Cat C, it will have the following anotation on the V5:
‘substantially repaired and/or accident damaged; identity checked on dd/mm/ccyy’.
2. If it doesnt have this on the V5, its either not a Cat C, or not been VIC checked, which is bad.
3. If it is a Cat C, has it written on the...
Ummm, yeah lol.
Saxo shaped football?
Oh dont be daft, im not exactly Ronaldo !!! Will probably have a kick about tomorrow before the league game, location tbc ...
Could have a kick about before as well tbh - we will be only playing 30 mins for this league, whereas normally its an hour & a half.
I personally need MORE exercise, not LESS :o
As I've said before, you need to talk to the tuner direct, not via a forum.
Personally, i think they're going way beyond what they were asked to do.
This should just be locked until its sorted imho.
:nono: I did? Dont mind, they will be orange though, just to p1ss you off :rasp:
We will all have extra small, to show off our manly curves, just like this:
(Thanks to Nick for modeling it all btw ...)
Helmet is optional ;)
Awesome!!
I think we should invest in a proper strip, or at least some dodgy t-shirts, something like this would be perfect ...
Not sure if pink would clash Mike .... :slap:
Or a stripped saxo on decent Bilstein/Faulkner suspension.
Rear end + no weight = one of the most throttle adjustable FWD chassis ever invented. Ever. Utter Brilliance.
My friend's TVR Cerbera was nicked from his drive, it was covered & blocked in by a horse box & a Range Rover. It had no engine in it.
This was from a private road in Weybridge.
People talk, cars disappear.
End.
Ok, tell me where you'll be storing it & ill 'look after it' for you ...
Trust me, look into a static policy. You'll cry like a baby if someone sticks it on the back of a low loader in the night. Losing £5k is not conducive to saving money.
Re: Taking a clio of the road??
As above, personally i think you'd be stark raving bonkers not to insure a car worth £5k ... id stick it on axle stands as well, would save the tyres from going flat & being damaged.
Dont be such a gay, i do 2.5k a month & just bought a Trophy with 50k on it. Miles are nothing if you look after a car. Yours may have a few problems, but you know the car inside out. The other one could be a problem waiting to happen...
Its like having a girlfriend that your happy with, know...
lol at all the people accusing the seller of using stolen parts!!
Not everyone is sh1t at buying stuff cheaply ...
Imho, it looks awesome, perfect for a young driver!!
Personally i think that the OP should pick up the phone to the 'tuner' and have a proper adult conversation about the issue, instead of spouting on a forum about when he wants it back.
Clearly the car was ill to begin with. From what i understand the 'tuning company' then extracted a suitable...
