It's such a grey area, I don't think I've read anything that conclusively says yay/no. For me, not worth the hassle. Just obliterate the inside's of the cat. Will look fine on inspection.
There was a guy on Pheads that had a nasty crash in his Impreza. Total write-off, running a decat, no pay-out. Up to you if you feel the risk is worth it.
Re: iPhone "must have" apps
Tomtom update for the 4 is good. You can use the geotagging on pics for nav destinations. Select the photo you've taken (new menu option in tomtom), and it'll take you to the location.
I think one of the reasons you get the hassle, is because people have been giving you sensible advise (do some actual track days, get some tuition, read roadcraft etc) for months.
And it's in one ear, out the other. You'd rather spend the cash on suspension etc that the car doesn't need. So...
Why do you only respond to the negative comments? There have also been some constructive comments, which you've conveniently glossed over.
You enjoy the crap, that's why you start silly threads and then act the victim. Needy.
So lol? He seems like a decent lad, he clearly enjoys making people believe silly stories that a 12yr old can rip apart, probably to make you look a bit silly. And credit to him, he didn't drive like a bellend (unusual for young guys in flash cars in that area) when I saw the car.
It worked.
225's aren't as cheap to run, and (going of a few owned on here) seem to develop issues when they get a bit older.
Undoubted you'd lose more than £1500max over 12 months, but worth checking with the guys on here in car sales.
Utter nonsense. Someone has been telling you tales and you've gone for it. £30m in the bank, 640bhp engine build, and he skimps on tyres?
I call bullshit.
