Ignore the fags on here. Cup packs really aren't essential. They'll tell you a 182cup is pointless, then the next minute be up someones arse for buying a 200cup.
Silver wheels don't really suit ly, there's one I see frequently with black wheels, looks very nice.
GoPro is good, but pricey. Whatever you get, bear in mind that most trackdays have banned suction mounts.
I stopped using my camera. Quickly realised that 99% of track days video's are incredibly boring!
The essessesssessessssssssssssssssss kit maintains the warranty I think. Engine bits I'd go for, but would't touch the suspension. Especially if it's got the same travel issues as the Panda.
Get it warm, hammer it. There is no need for a running in period. Think about it, the drivetrain will be under max load at peak torque, which on the 500 is at 3000rpm. So it's already been under max load!
All of my new cars have been hammered from new. All been reliable, all been quick. Do it...
Such a weird car. Strip the rear, but then don't put buckets in the front? Special cars, but for the money I'd rather a works with the lsd, coilovers and engine work.
Good stuff! Like you say, the cup doesn't work well on mways, but great off them. I def made the right choice given the use mine gets. Enjoy.
Ps, if you get chance to speak to the vinyl guy, I still want mine doing and my brothers twingo (the front number plate recess in black). Xx
Bang on. The chassis and engine are on a different level. Shows how unnecessary the haldex is on the mk1's.
I'd love a shot in the rs, the engine is meant to be a monster!
There's not much else that fits the bill so well for a daily drive, as long as you've got something half decent to drive at home!
I still think they look better than the mk2's as well.
