I recently installed aftermarket FK 60/40 lowering springs with upgraded shocks but the front isn't as low as i would like it to be. I was wondering if i should cut the front springs a little to get it slightly lower at the front? I'm thinking an inch off the coil or something? I would want it...
yeah an planning to do so soon, getting rid of the MTV stickers and maybe debadging the back so waiting to do that first to give it a good polish all over
Finally got it lowered!! Was an absolute nightmare getting 14 year old rusted bolts off when i had a 19mm socket and a 17mm but not the correct 18mm, but regardless of that they're on and it's lowered! Supposed to be 60/40, feels like it's lower at the back but i'm quite happy with the outcome...

Back home now from university so i'm able to get my little project going nicely. Started doing the lowering springs but i ran out of light, will finish tomorrow!
Lowering 60mm on the front and 40mm on the back, hopefully looks good!
Ever since being a little kid, I've always absolutely loved Clios, always been a fan of them and always will be. So I turned 17, passed my test and set out to buy a Clio. I wanted a Black 1.2 Ph3 Dynamique or something similar. Bearing in mind I didn't have a job, was still in school and didn't...

Looking to see some pictures of Ph1 non-sports lowered 60mm all round and F60/R40, post up, need to decide whether to go 60mm all round or F60/R40, what would you recommend?
Haven't tried them on yet but i'll have to see. The ones that bolt on to the hub are the best but quite expensive, at uni at the moment so on a tight budget
I recently bought some 20mm spacers for my Ph1 Mk2 clio but at their arrival i realized they were lug centric.
I'm not too sure to what extent they are safe to put on my car, any thoughts?
If not, anybody know where i can buy a set of cheap hub centric spacers, preferably around 20mm thick...
Nope no tow bar fitted but it has had an earthing problem to the starter motor
I'll give it a go. As for the lights, they haven't been changed since the problem has evolved
When I press the brake and indicate left, the indicators fully stop until i've stopped braking. Also the fog light slightly shows on the dash when i press the brake.
Looked online and found that it should be earthing to the rear light so i took the light off and found that one of the cables had...
yo have you got the FK springs and shocks? I like how your car sits, might have to get these for my ph1 http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/Suspension-Tuning/Sport-Suspension/Sports-suspension-High-Tec-60-40-mm-for-Renault-Clio-B-52-mm-B.html
i have a Ph1 and i'm about to buy a set of Axe Ex8s, just wondering if you can fit them straight on with no spacers or have to put spacers? Not quite sure seeing as they're 8J
