personally i wouldnt go below a cat D, i had a saxo on a x plate cat d, didnt find any damage at all, i believe it could of been stolen recovered, but couldnt tell either way.
cat D is light damage/stolen recovered
cat C is structual damage, med'heavy damage, needs to pass a test to be allowed on the road when repaired
cat B is total loss and is used for parts if any left undamaged
car A total loss and has to be crushed up
my dad has the blue focus ST3 he traded in his CTR, and its fast i would of said its faster than the 172 and ctr's but i havnt drove a 172.
so i may be corrected...
i have not drove the ST neither :( he must not trust me lol i cant think why :)
i know you bought from a dealer but if you're paying 7-9 k for a car then why not do a car check?? it only costs 20 , there are dodgy car dealers out there...
