To be honest no but I didn't notice a loss either. The sound is something else though. I'd recommend it.

Upgrade to 182. Yet another question about Performance

I would say an RS tuner or a remap from one of the respected people on here would be worthwhile. Not for a serious power gain, but it improves drive-ability so much. Getting major power is expensive. If getting cambelt changed then you could pop in a set of cams - but I wouldn't fit a set of...

I would just take it to a garage. Stop playing with it, you'll make it worse.

Am I reading that right? Drained the gearbox oil, didn't refill, then drove 500 miles?

O.k, just a quick update. Took a trip down to south Wales yesterday to pick up a set of OZ F1's: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?756543-15-quot-OZ-F1s-X-4 I was planning to do them myself, but maybe City Powder Coaters in Brum might be a better option at £20 a wheel? Dunno...

VERY long distance drive - checks?

Basic checks - oil level (top up in the boot), check coolant, check brakes, check wheel bearings, check tyre pressures, check wheel bolts. Take a set of assorted fuses and relays and bulbs. Basic toolkit and jack (don't go nuts - basic spanners/sockets/cable ties/jubilees/gaffa tape - 5 drawer...

Pic request - OZ F1's and Cooksports

I'm hoping to get my hands on a set of 15" OZ F1's, but i'm a little worried that my 182 will look like a tractor. Just wanted to see some 182's with cooksport springs running the OZ's. Most of the nice pics of Clio's on F1's seem to run coilovers. Show me what ya got ;)

Jamsport inlet manifold - any good?

If I buy one mail order, rather than porting my own, will it still do the job? I'm guessing it won't be "matched" as such?

I've been lurking on here for a while so it's about time I started a project thread. Apologies in advance as most of the photo's were taken on a crappy camera phone. This is my Clio 182 on the day I bought it from a lad in Chirk: Car was in good condition and had a massive folder full of...
