heard they only really work well on turbos, is this right? also that they CAN iron out flat spots on some motors? but generally a waste of time, i bought one for my XSI 306, never got round to fitting it, still in its box at my mates house!
would a sign written car be allowed? reckon i could borrow a car from a local garage here, they would make a v.nice sized donation too, but would probably want their signwritten car to enter, is that allowed?
REALLY WANT TO DO THIS! obviously from Lands End to John O Groats though! how much would entry fee be, and how many people would be leaving from the lands end one? dont wanna go it alone, lol, as would get lost!!
back in 2000 my dad bought an import M-Roadster, because he was middle aged and had first cars all his life, he assumed it wouldnt be dear to insure, his best quote was 800quid, then he declared it had a 5grand power curve change to 389bhp and complete removal of top speed limiter, the cheapest...
the quality of S-video out is crap, you would need to run at like 800x600 resolution to make it all fit, but then you still have the problem that all text is blurry etc. unsure if a projector may work. films etc work fine using TV out on a PC, but i tried doing what you're doing (actually sold...
its not online (well, might be) but tesco do spindle packs of 10 DVD-Rs for 2.97 which is bloody cheap (29p per disc). they do - or + format depending on which drive you have, nowadays, most are both. i bought 2 packs the other day to back up my hard drive!
on the above mentioned friends first car (306 1.6xs) he was charged 80 for wheel change to 16s, 70 for K&N and 20odd for a boost valve wotsit (forgot the name). he was quoted something stupid for lowering so never did it (car got nicknamed 'le boat'). i think it depends who is on the other end...
was expectin a vid! i drive with my fogs on whenever its dark! hate me! :P
in the country and lanes etc, you need to see the hedgerows as there are tree trunks and stones out to hit you at every oppurtunity! i dont see the point in not using any extra illumination you have to hand... they dont...
that sounds just right. its about 900 once you have passed the 2 year driving mark. norwich union wouldnt insure a clio 16v, or even my piss poor 8v XSI! elephant are great! hehe
ok, i know you think i may have edited this or whatever, but i havent!
mileage per year is 10,000 , one years driving experience, changed my date of birth so i was 18, parked in a garage, no fines, but still! oh, and ZERO no claims.
its only a 10 month program, not a year, but it builds your no...
elephant are shite for non performance cars though, i had a clio diesel to runaround in start of this year, and it was 790 with elephant, and the R19 16v was about £100 more...
i think the sites a bit better now, i tried emailing the vids, but hotmail says its too big and i need to pay to upgrade to do it! so it cancelled it AFTER it took its time attaching it!
a friend of mine just declared mods on his 206 XSI HDI, it had a re-map of 36bhp, bigger discs and 17" peugeot wheels fitted, the remap and discs were no charge, and the wheels were £27
my first renault 19 16v would still be pulling at 135 but my second one felt piss poor at about 115 and wouldnt pull anymore... both on same road aswell. my clio pulls well, but havent bothered with top end at the moment, never like going too quick in cars, lost a bit of confidence after the...
