    Smaller plate on 182

    Certainly do!

    Smaller plate on 182

Each to their own, don't think it looks tacky at all, I didn't want standard UK font

    Smaller plate on 182

It's a 520x90mm plate, you can do 98mm so there is no lip showing at all but I like it to have a little bit showing. My original font was too big though for a small plate, the new font is 52mm, originally this is 67mm and looked too big and clumsy for my liking on the small plate!

    Smaller plate on 182

BEFORE: AFTER: Got in touch with fancy plates back when this arrived as font was bigger than expected or shown on their site. Took a few emails, a phone call and a long wait (arrived today) but I can say that they actually made sure I was happy and sent me another plate free of charge which...

    Budget Tyres

The Avons were only on a D-Turbo Hdi, though it was mapped out, but wasn't really a weapon. Did have bags of torque though and handled pretty well with them on... Was a bit loose in the wet though now you mention it...! Got some BF Goodrich Profiler (2's I think?) on the Civic Type R at the...

    Budget Tyres

Yeah definitely true, didn't stop me going for good tyres, just couldn't believe the difference. I've got 3 good mates at three different tyre suppliers now, so get a heads up on promotional prices/loss leaders which has helped a couple of times when needing tyres. Still hate spending out...

    Budget Tyres

I think tyre prices go up so often it scares people. Bare in mind it's usually a year at least between changes for most people, the price changes in that time and seems ridiculous. About 4years ago got 4 15" Avon Zz3 or Zv3 (can't remember which), fitted, balanced blah blah for £47 a corner...

    Budget Tyres

Maybe he just needed one for the time being and thought he'd buy cheap until getting a full set of decent tyres? Or maybe he was just a bit backwards! Ha

    V6 on fire.... Again

Well I bet some b******s love watching other peoples cars get wrecked, jealous/lazy, either way I wouldn't be happy!! But then if I ever owned a V6, I'd just want to look at it, not abuse it around a track, but that's just me!

    V6 on fire.... Again

Seen this type of thing first hand, Renault 5 Raider GTT, my dad owned it when I was about 5, driving home one night he and I smelt burning, so pulled up on side of road and smoke came up through the vents. We all bailed out, couldn't stop it happening, within 10 minutes it was just like that...

Don't think you can blame religion for engine dying...!

    Budget Tyres

I reckon a decent set of part worn tyres are better than cheap new budgets even.

    Budget Tyres

Had a full set on a 2.2 prelude, really very good tyres! Couldn't believe the speed I could carry in the rain, they work exceptionally well!

    Remap?

But would definitely do rstuner map, can't rate the difference it makes highly enough, and I have same mods as you.

    Budget Tyres

I find T1Rs only ever work well on longer chassis' like coupes/sports saloons. Never really put them on hatches.

    2 x 182 FF's out for a night shoot...

How can you tell they've been washed too much? What colour do they start off like?

    Budget Tyres

The only part of the entire car that touches the road, definitely need to be the most expensive/quality you can afford. I have pirelli Pzero Nero up front, they are surprisingly brilliant tyres, not the most expensive tyre either so for price they are fantastic, never once had cause for concern...

Gaz.'s Honda Accord Type R (VTEC Kicked in etc)

Too right, I'm surprised at what just a k100 will do with mid range power, showed a 35bhp increase at 6k...! Massive improvement. I think if you can do equivalent of the stage 5 for less than 2grand, it's got to be worth it, would be an absolute weapon without touching internals! Would chuck in...

Gaz.'s Honda Accord Type R (VTEC Kicked in etc)

Sold my ATR last year, always wanted one since I first saw one, way more than a CTR! Something amazing about them! Seats and dash I prefer far more than CTR too! And the Ferrari steering wheel, lush!! Mine was in silver, had 5th synchro done at Honda (cost a grand) and I loved the s**t out of...

Old Dears New Billabong - Quite Fun?!

My old dears just gotten this little billabong, I took it out for the obligatory blast down the road and I'm actually quite shocked at how much better it is than I thought it'd be..! It's a 1.2 16v and it's actually pretty nippy! Revs right out, obviously it's no RS but for first cars or...

Newbie just put a deposit down on a 172

This is really annoying, I did mine without removing mechanism, took about half an hour to get the wipers off though, seriously stuck on! You can undo the reservoir bolts and get the motors out with the bottle in place, not easy but doable. I swapped my main pump with the one for the lights, had...

Love the exhaust anyway mate, yeahh they look great standard but it's a nice tip, nicely recessed and not too big, looks like it should have been O.E.

    Been looking at a 182 - issue?

Paid less than that for mine, fair enough it's done more miles (was still below average), it had full history, new drille and grooved discs front and back, 3mth old piper cat back system and simota enclosed induction, plus belts were changed 20k before I bought it. And it was blue with both cup...
