Tyres were changed just a couple of weeks ago so rims were inspected an balanced thn bud. Had them rebalanced the other day as well when this first started
Seemed ok after putting air in tyres, went up and down same stretch of carriage way over past 2 days with no problems, then today it did it again, very briefly whilst changing lanes. Old man was in the car and reckons it did it after hitting a cats eye when switching lanes?? I really don't know...
Ahhh did see badges on the pillars, thought it said Racer, haha!
Old man used to have Raider R5 GTTs back in the early 90s, nice that theyve brought the name back!
Yeah was that colour, looked mint!
I think a white clio would look nice, but just not that one. I'm thinking pearlescent would be really nice. Used to own a pearlescent white Mitsubishi GTO, amazing colour!
I thought that earlier but thought that was the point everyone was making?
Still doesn't make a great deal of sense as to why an advert a month ago states cam belt was done 100 miles ago, and second advert states 12k ago.
Made me think the first advert was written and car was either for sale...
Gumtree is getting more popular. I've sold a couple of decent, albeit cheaper cars on there. Though I'd agree, if I was looking for a car it's not the first place I'd look!
Although saying that, I found my 182 on there, but hadn't even considered looking on gumtree and was shocked it was still...
Hmmm, yeah I normally avoid those ones. Chances are the paints terrible too and he's not got the sense to realise that either.
I think if you're wanting a white one, then doing it yourself is the only way to ensure it's done right.
I can't stand bad paintwork, I'd rather see dents and...
Can tell a lot about a car from how the adverts written. If the owners not intelligent enough to write properly, they definitely can't know how to look after a car properly
See mine doesn't seem speed related, it's not necessarily when accelerating or breaking either, it's totally random. Today it happened whilst accelerating and again whilst just maintaining speed, the other day it happened whilst going at an ever so slight downhill section using cruise control...
Hoping for a driveshaft, just been scared sideways and told it could be the differential in the gearbox..!
Or a spleen or something, didn't quite take in what was said...!
My old mans just put his tyre pump on and reckons it had 10psi in one tyre and 40 on the other on the front, though he is...
It's an odd one, will have to let the garage have a look, it's the entire car shaking which is odd, and really violent and at no particular speed, got me puzzled! Thanks again for advice!
Ok may take it for a drive up another carriageway an see if it does it. Is it a very dangerous problem as in will I fly off the road eventually or something?
And lastly (sorry for bombarding you with questions), is there an easy way to diagnose it for sure whilst in the air as I have access to...
Ok, thanks for suggestion, would that cause it to happen just at random points? It's not regular or constant, and doesn't ever seem to happen on any road apart from this dual carriageway.
It did need an outer cv boot for last MOT, if this had been off/broken for a while, would that contribute...
Hey all, the last week to ten days, going up A30 dual carriageway (for anyone local, the stretch between Hayle and Redruth) and randomly the car shakes really violently, almost like the wheels are seriously out of balance or tyres got bulges or something.
Tracking has been done, wheels have...
Looks stunning pal, been wanting spacers for a while, does it affect handling at all?
And where'd you get your plates made, was it online or over the counter??
In all honesty she should have seen a doctor immediately to prove injury was from that incident. But in today's society it is more than likely you will not come out of this particularly well...
The Pratt flashing and waving you obviously wanted your space so hurried you out, I'd have told him to...
Find an end space, and then park well over like you've done, but dont do it when there's a space next to you?!
Who reckons it's easier parking bonnet in? So much easier reversing in a space!!
I'm also looking for 2nd hand RS TUner, what's the deal with buying used one, some are unlocked etc, what does that mean?
After buying the unit, what else do you need to do and pay for?
Yep, also got a nimbus grey 225 with the baseball trim, it's had a 268bhp remap and has the RS4 alloys, V6 sounds far better, and much smoother power delivery but the 225 is pretty potent but it needs to be revved which is annoying for a turbocharged car, especially post remap but then you tend...
Go through gwithian quite regularly, I'll keep an eye out! Nice black one in hayle with turinis last couple days, may be on holiday though. Seen an arctic blue one with gold bbs in Newquay alot.
Did you go for Renault part or universal? Mind me asking where you got it from and what you paid? Need a drivers side outer boot, Renault want a fortune, considering a Duraboot universal one at 1/5th the price!
Pulled wipers all off again to get at washer bottle. When fitted pumps back, one rubber seal didn't go in properly to bottle so was leaking. Did it all again, no leaks now though
