I've been reading alot on DW about wet sanding, one day I will be able to do it! Like you say, not for the faint hearted!
I showed my Missus and she didn't believe it, thought it was fake lol!
I'd be scared to take that car out after all that time and work!
Oh, I have no idea then unless they are cheap bolts, over tightening or cross threaded?
But if it's the third set I don't really know what to suggest I did mine not long ago and used my battery nut gun to do them up so I expect they are tighter than 75Nm.
Sound like you've stripped the threads in the nut! You need a new nut and bolt and try that!
Getting the old one off might be a pain, might need to cut it off!
I think they do too. Aren't a lot of plugs rated these days to over 50k?
I wouldn't start buying random bits because you have a starting problem, might be something simple like a battery. Carry out some proper checks before buying things, your just wasting your money otherwise.
I know the problem has been sorted, well done mate. Glad its all done now!
But is the above statement true? I've always been taught number 1 cylinder is timing end??
Yeah you need to find out if you have the suspension cup pack, because I think the hubs are different where the shock meets the hub, the bolt spacing is different.
The differences are here; http://www.cliosport.net/content/guides/Renault%20Sport%20Clio%20Guide.pdf
Yeah I see your problems now.
You need to tell them your f**king Fred, Fred@BTM>Renault
Hopefully you will get some positive comments out of Gates then. And hopefully you sort it as you can't have anymore comebacks to pay for out your own pocket.
Sounds like they have no idea mate. We can't tell you what to do but it sounds like the dealer is just a salesman, nothing more. He just needs a sale and will tell you anything to get you to by it.
Wait a little longer and have another look at some more mate.
