No I didn't, I haven't had mine set up either, I fitted them myself along with new top mounts as one of mine was worn.

If you know they are cheap crap on there I would change it for some better stuff. The fluid may never have been changed either, I changed it on mine with some braided hoses and it made a massive difference.

Its one pump for the headlights and one for front and rear screens. Check theres voltage to the pump.

I used one to fit my new brake lines and it couldn't get out the air that was trapped in the lines, had to do it manually in the end. A lot of people rave about them though, so maybe it was just bad luck.
