Think he meant that it comes on with the ignition as wanted, but then goes off again when the engine is started.
My guess is it doesn't like the drop in power when the engine is started, sounds like a unit fault if it doesn't change when you put it up front also??
I know it's been covered a hundred times or more but have you got any suggestions for which are good and which aren't worth it?

Good stuff then. I got an odk sample which I'm using tomorrow on a mates car as a final layer so I'll look forward to that...
Quite tempted with the wax pack thing though. I may have to trial it for a few months....
With the ending of Waxybox, and me liking the opportunity to try new things out and see how I get on with them and their behaviours, I've just stumbled upon this::

Please excuse me if this is a repost, but I have had a search and not found anything about these guys...
Today has been a day of head clearing...
I had some s**t happen a fortnight ago, and I've got another week till I can actually start getting over it. So today I've had a day off just to clean my car, clear my head and get some me time!!
Not the best job, and I know it needs more, but this is...
Not true... 172 block I got off @Kelv off here when he was selling bits had a locked crank. I have no idea how it was timed up previously!!! I swapped it for the floating pulley off my old block so I could time it properly and allow belt to turn without moving the internals....
Where abouts are you??
This does look like you've gone the long way around things but that's just my opinion. Whatever works for you is the right way for you!!
Make sure you have the wires disconnected from the starter before you remove it completely. Also make sure the heat shield is back on...
Take the switch off, tap/knock it against something, to reset it, put it back in...
When you depress the button do you hear or feel it click??
These are generally very simple to reset though to be fair
Sounds daft, but from my personal experience with these I've found you have to disconnect the battery in order to get it to reset itself.
406 couple v6 was like this...
My Vivaro is the same as I found out a few weeks ago...
Finally got shot of the misfire... Turned out the injector had decided it didn't want to be part of the connector any more and as a result gave me an intermittent misfire. Plug was well seated on there, but there must have been a crack to it somewhere as it fell apart in my hand as I was...
This is exactly how I am with mine...
However mine has the added benefit of throwing a fit at me every now and then, like at the moment it's got a rediculous missfire!! And as it's just a weekend car then I'm loosing the will to keep sorting it!!
Breaker in the making for mine I thing
Ahh that makes more sense.
He's not really sure what he's after to be fair. Are you mobile then? I'm happy to pass your details on to him to contact and he can talk you through what he's thinking and you can advise if it's something you can cater for or if he's after something from a different...
Whilst I agree, if you'd just bought an Aston Martin DB9 6.0v12 would you go by the look of someone's instagram pictures to decide on someone to valet your car once a month for you??
I know there are a lot of very talented people on here for the job, but my friend is looking for a business with...

A friend of mine is looking for a mobile valeted around the area these guys cover and has asked me to find out what I can about them...
Anyone know of them??
The car being worked on is an Aston Martin DB9
